Health Charities that Don't Test on Animals
Health charities and service organizations that do not conduct or fund experiments on animals are included on the “don’t test list. These organizations deal with human health issues ranging from birth defects to heart disease to substance abuse. Some fund non-animal research to find treatments and cures for diseases and disabilities while others provide services and direct care to people living with physical or mental ailments.
Charities listed and their affiliated organizations do not conduct or fund any experiments on animals and will not do so in the future. Those marked with an asterisk are presently observing a moratorium on (i.e., current suspension of) animal experiments.
The following health charities and service organizations DO NOT conduct or fund animal experiments. They may deal with several issues, including nonhealth-related issues, but they are listed according to their primary health focus.
